I don't recall but should we reserve asap for the 3 day weekend at pismo? There are still 435 spots left (out of 1000). That's quite a few left, but they will sell out for sure same as they do for every holiday weekend. I recommend purchasing your pass for Pismo soon. You'll need to purchase one per vehicle (not per person or per tent). PISMO RESERVATION INSTRUCTIONS Click here for link to reservation website Park name = OCEANO DUNES SVRA Arrival date = Fri Feb 13 2009 Length of stay = 3 There are heavy fines if your rig is on the beach at night and doesn't have a pass/sticker in the windshield.

I plotted the key waypoints for the Pine Mtn & Garcia Ridge trails into my gps. I then exported it below for those who're running a garmin gps.
For those who just want to read the data off of it, the format is as follows... Waypoint,D,TrailName, deg, min, date, time, description.
Obviously the time/date info is not relevant but is necessary for the import format garmin uses.

To import this, simply copy and paste it into a text document and use the garmin import feature to import it in.
I can also export it for most other topo/hiking gps' (not street navigation devices). Let me know if you need it for a delorme or some other gps system. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

Monte, IÆll buy the pass from you, this will be my first outing with the wire.
I've never been to Pismo and my understanding from there web site is that every car needs a pass and your assign a camp spot when you get there. I plan on towing my raider would I need an additional reservation for the second vehicle? Will some one be there holding spots for the group? Since I would get there after 9:00 pm on Friday and wouldnÆt want to end up all by myself away from the group.
Thanks,
Nick
