I'm not going on this run, but I thought I'd pass the find along. I don't know if it's seasoned or not, but it's wood, it's stacked and it says $75 right on it.
If you're quiet and quick, I imagine it could be free <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" />

Hey guys, got room for one more? I had planned to travel during this time, turns out, I'm going to be around. I'd love to tag along if you don't mind an Isuzu in the mix..... I will probably only be camping Saturday night if they aren't sold out. I will be able to wheel Saturday and Sunday. I will return home Sunday evening since I have to work on Monday.

Ok, thanks guys!
FYI, It is sold out. That's alright, my rental is in Lompoc which isn't far away. (which BTW has a garage and large side yard if there is any major carnage that needs addressed)
I'll just need to arrive before you guys leave out on Sunday. Can some one PM me with contact names and numbers?

you can camp on the beach with any one of us. just your vehicle needs to be off the sand by a certain time. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />

By the way, someone recently contacted me asking what they should bring since they're new to wheeling.
For the most part, you need... CAMPING GEAR Tent Sleeping Bag Table Stove Cooler Lantern Flashlight Food
VEHICLE Spare Keys: You don't want to ask, why. Spare Tire: Should be the same size as the other four, but 1-2 sizes bigger/smaller will still work in a pinch. Air Compressor: Inexpensive Walmart/Pepboys units work fine, but can take upwards of an hour to fill your tires. A quality unit like an ARB or Quick Air are recommended. Vehicle Jack: The stock unit will suffice in many situations, but a HiLift is highly recommended. Lug Wrench Lock Nut Key: You won't believe how crazy you get if you can't find it on the trail and you need it. Spare Gasoline: Depending on the trip, it's usually a good idea to bring 5-10 gallons. Don't forget to bring the required hardware to open, pour, and reseal your containers especially the Blitz jerry cans. Motor Oil: @ least 1 quart. Premixed Coolant: 1 gallon is fine Extra Spark Plugs: Nice, but not necessary. Bring if you want (but don't forget the socket). First Aid Kit: The bigger the better. This will sound obvious, but make sure you regularly replenish it. Fire Extinguisher: Make sure you purchase an ABC rated extinguisher which can be used for automobile type fires (electrical, oil, etc.)
TOOLS I've found that you can purchase most all of these as a kit from Sears, or any local hardware/auto parts store for a reasonable price and it will come in a nice, organized container. On the other hand a decent sized canvas tool bag works too. Socket Set: Metric, and Standard for any optional items you've added. Adjustable Open End Wrenches: Large, Medium, and Small Screwdrivers: Small, Medium and Large of both Phillips and Flat Head Allen Wrench Set: Buy a set that's self contained and not all loose. Hammer: Medium weight Claw Hammer is all you need Spark Plug Socket Rags: 10-20 1'x1' works Hand Cleaner: The self drying kind is nice, but not that great for the environment, unless you get the one made with Citrus based solvents/cleaners
The camping gear is required but don't worry if you don't have the tools or vehicle recovery gear since most of the regulars will have them.
I'm sure there are a few more things I'm forgetting so please feel free to chime in if you notice something important missing from the list. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />
