Does anyone going on this trip, and who's coming back up north, have room for a rear axle when they drive back? I know it's asking a lot, but thought I'd put it out there...

Edit -- Jon, I might have responded too fast. Let me look in to whether I can take the axle for you. I'd like to help but let me see. I know the approx size, but how much weight are we talking about?

Well, that's a pretty good question. I can't imagine it would be too much. I carried a D60 with drums on a couple hour trip in my LWB, but I was empty otherwise. If you can, cool, I'll try and see if I can work something with Dave to get one to you on the run. If not, I'll hold off and not put anyone through any trouble. I appreciate you checking just the same. Oh, that was my long way of saying I don't know how much the axle weighs...

You're awesome Joanna!

I wish I had room for that John but I'm bringing my 2 door which won't be big enough for a rear axle.

I will have room for your springs though.

You should all have a flyer now. Let me know if you're having problems printing it.

I have everyone's number there except for joestruck. He hasn't replied to my PM asking for his number so I hope he sees this and chimes in with his number or at least confirms if he's still going or not.

Ray, I know you're already taking one for the team (read: me ). Thank you! If it doesn't work out, it's all good. I may not have an axle to get picked up anyway...

Rather than send a PM for page 2 of the flyer, I figured I'd post it's link instead.

OK, I see most of you have seen the Trip Flyer PM I sent out last night. If you need to send me your number or a different number, please do.

Also, if any of you are still unsure/playing it by ear, please let me know by Friday (Feb 13) at the latest so we won't be waiting for you wondering what happened.
