Went out to Haspin today. Montero did much better than I expected. I followed some jeeps around most of the time and even they were impressed. Where they went I went. I need to find some decent 33's for my other set of wheels and it would be even better. The 30x9.50's did ok but could have been better. Wasn't much mud unless you wanted there to be. Weather is calling for rain on Saturday but that's a week away so it may change. Also, you don't have to camp in the camping area. You can also set up camp out in the middle of the woods too. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />

at the end of the video you can see a rock fly out from under the xterra as the driveshaft breaks. we harvested the driveshaft from that old junk blazer at the bottom of the hill and spliced it to the end of scotts to get the X back on the trail that day. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

My buddy got highcentered. We weren't even there an hour yet. Lucky, my truck got him out.

Thats Tag behind the truck on his four wheeler. Thanks for trying, man. Ended up getting pulled out by a Jeep then made my own trail somewhat following a Sami that got stuck around the same spot too




We had a good time although the weather was terrible. Saturday wasn't too bad with only a quick shower mid-day then thunderstorms that night. Sunday was horribly muddy so we left early. I think I'm gonna weld my spare front diff and give it a try.

jagnew8 - you missed the nice weather by a day.... We went down Fri early and stayed till Sat afternoon, just about as the weather changed...

Great weekend for a trail ride, Flopped the Runner on her side <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/zombie.gif" alt="" /> no real breaks except we were riding with Dannytuned in his Mitzu and the Xterra when the d-shaft decided it would rather be part Chevy <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />... Gotta say that was one 'NICE' trail fix, no duct tape used <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
