So I have this 95 SR that was due for a timing belt change, water pump... all that. A couple weeks ago it overheated at random and then began leaking coolant. As of last week, it appeared to be coming out from inside the plastic of the timing belt cover so I thought "Great, the water pump is dead, I needed to do that anyway".

I took the whole front of the engine apart and did all that regular maintenance that I needed. In the process, I checked the freeze plug on the passenger side of the engine because it seemed like there could be a leak from there as well after a conversation with Toasty. It looked fine. Everything else I could see with the whole front of the engine off looked fine. I put it all back together again and still a substantial leak as I am filling her back up with coolant. I took the intake and alternator off again to get a better look and stuck one of my mini-cams in the area to look around and the following is what I found....

This is on the right side (passenger), basically directly behind the alternator. There is water actively running down the side of the block there, but not coming from the freeze plug. it runs from just above and just forward of it, but for the life of me, I can't understand what is going on. Someone please enlighten me....

edit:
It seems I have been away too long, I don't remember how to do images right. If those don't work for you, please let me know.
