Need a Spot
Im at the pick and pull and found an 89 v6 manual montero. It has the lsd coil sprung axle. I have an 89 dodge raider swb leaf sprung axle. Can i use the lsd third member on my axle or do I need to take the whole axle and connvert mine to coil sprung. How about the front axle? Ive read that there is a locker available for the v6 front diff?

I'm inclined to believe that the 3rd member is not interchangeable between a v6 and 4cyl.

If you salvage the front axle, you can use a Starion LSD or Aussie locker. The V6 manual CVs are reportedly the strongest of the breed. Is this SWB or LWB? Some of the SWB parts are unique and valuable.

I is my understanding that 89 Raiders and Monteros were coil sprung. SWB and LWB

Could you still get a 4 cylinder in 89?

1989 was last year for both 2.6L and leaf springs in USDM. I have parted one 2/89 Montero 4-cyl.
