In May I passed out and then fell from a ladder, resulting in a head trauma and a broken back. Because of the head trauma I was transferred to Harborview Hospital in Seattle, the regional trauma center. The head trauma actually turned out to be relatively minor but in addressing my pains they discovered that I had two broken vertebrae. They ended up fusing 6 vertebrae, so I have two rods and 12 screws in my back (t 6 to t 11).

I am back able to do most things but with significant restrictions.
