Yup, these will work on any configuration of coil sprung Montero with any lift and any shock. Unless you go triangulated 4 link that doesn't require a panhard rod.

With the 4-link, I was eliminating the whole Panhard rod need. On the other hand, if that stuff is stronger than .5" wall DOM, I am all kinds of excited!!! I'll PM you Toasty about the 4-link stuff once I get settled in Oregon.

If you're looking for information, there are at least a dozen+ discussions on DOM vs aluminum used in links (drag links, 3/4-link arms, etc). There are plus' and minus' to each - its not entirely all about strength.  Edward

Yeah, I know. Materials Science is a convoluted field, what with modulus of elasticity, fatigue cycles, etc, etc. I just do not like the twisting force that the stock arms impart to the axle tubes when articulating (imagine the angles with one arm up and one down), which is why they break. The patch merely transfers all of the force into the axle assembly, taking away the "safety valve". Of course this is all said after I stated that I didn't want to second guess the engineers, lol! Thus the reason for a 4-link, lets it float and keeps the diff nose where it ought to be.

Not sure, I haven't installed one on that setup. The adjustment seems pretty minor even with taller springs, but it's not insignificant. But lets say you adjust 1/4" that 1/4" equates to few degrees now figure the length of your trailing arms, that few degrees makes a nice sideload. Less wear on your bushings and a perfect track, equal left and right handeling and the other benefit is the strength upgrade and the rebuildable joints.
