Body Damage is Cool

Going thru the FAQ reference section, and I notice most are missing pictures. I have, or can get as I am about to put a different truck together. The first one I noticed is the SR axle install into a Gen 1. I will be taking the SR axle out of my black 89 and installing it into my red 89. So everything will be nice and visible. I can picture Justice' parts, having done the same swap already. Are we able to insert new pictures, or does a duplicate write up need to be done?

Yes. There are a number of broken links due to people posting images outside the 4x4wire connection links.
I have worked to fix many but many are on personal servers where contacts are no longer valid.
Moving forward I am open to hosting images from a central 4x4wire server.

If the broken links are in the forums, the individual posts can be edited. It would be best if the pictures can be in a 4x4wire directory.
Or, you can do a new write up, complete with pictures an links to forum posts.
Different options are now available that were not in the past.

So, for long term, what is best? Edit pics in? New post with pics mimicking the original? I use Photobucket, I'm pretty sure all pics I've posted are still up. I've never deleted any pics from my folders, which to my understanding is what messes them up. Is that correct btw?

Yes, people deleting their PhotoBucket or other accounts are the source of the problem.
Long term, I would rather have articles on the 4x4Wire BLOG side with references to the articles in the forums.
The current forum software does allow for embedding images, but, it offers limited formatting of the article.
For old posts with broken links, if you have a new image, the post can be edited to include the new image. Or, the link can be edited to reflect a correct link.
