Ok so i've been studying allot lately but it looked like a 97' Montero sport 2.4l would work with an adapter plate, some bolts for that and some other stuff? But the 97' 2.4l would work in a 87 gen 1 with th 5 speed km145? Her Name was Eileen, Because she most often was on a jack...
