Radiator for '90 Montero? #1102290 10/18/16 04:28 AM

I've been trying to find a new radiator for a '90 Monty. Various parts vendors list a model 1384 for the '89 to '91 V6's but they don't fit my '90-- neither the mounting holes for the frame nor the bolt holes for the fan shroud line up correctly. Has anyone found a source that fits? confused

I'm running out of options for a #1384 radiator to fit the '90 Monty. Nobody seems to have one in stock. Can anyone provide the dimensions for a #1504 radiator on a GEN II 92+ radiator to see if it could be made to fit?
In particular, I would need the horizontal distance between the side bracket mounting holes on the front side. For my '90 this is 25 1/8 inches. If the front brackets fit I can make the fan housing fit on the rear side.
Thanks!

Have a radiator shop rod yours out. Or, have Gen I 4-cyl radiator 3-core guts put in your V6 tanks.

Gen II radiator is laid out differently.

The existing radiator on the '90 Monty is trashed-cannot be repaired.
Looks like the GEN II '92 + core width is the same. If the horizontal distance between the frame mounting holes is the same as the '90, 25 1/8 inches, I can make a GEN II radiator work. The hose connections are in the same places.

Body Damage is Cool
Even if it's wider, you could riv-nut it in.
