After getting it bolted down, mover the adjuster so you have access to the rear hole. The hole will be covered, except for a tiny portion of it will be visible.

This is where you bust out your drill and a 5/16" (8mm) bit. Drill thru the seat frame, to where you can use the original seat frame bolt, along with a lock washer and 8mm nut, to attach the two together. It really is that simple.

Now you have your Gen 2 seat mated to the Gen 1 seat adjuster. Now simply bolt your seat base(bouncy, tilt, stationary, whichever you have)to your new hybrid seat.

Now you should have something resembling your old seat, only more comfortable. Bolt the seat base back in, and go hit the trails!!!
