Getting the Wheeling Fever
Just curious if anyone has a thread on the subject of building a 4G64 block/4G63 cylinder head rwd setup in a Gen 1 mated to a (5 speed manual KM145)
Theres threads everywhere but only pieces. Every link I can find to a complete thread on the subject of building the engine alone is a dead end.

I found the same thing. Seems like they all got to a point and quit posting. Then there would be a pic of engine in a truck and you're left sitting there scratching your head going "what did I miss?"

Getting the Wheeling Fever
Ive emailed a bit back and forth with Mr.bowman on the Frankenstein build and swap who runs that site. He was very helpful giving a brief understanding of how to do the swap into a rwd setup in a Gen 1. I was able to track down a wideblock 6 bolt 4G64 through an eBay seller. Bought and shipped the block for less then 500. As far as I know the seller has one left. This block bolts onto the km145 5 speed trans. I plan on investing about 5500 in the 4G64+4G63 DOHC engine build and 18k in the truck's over all build.

Thanks for your reply mudraider! This sounds like sticky/upgrade guide potential. I might transcribe from my build book if I get the time from class after its built and running. I'll keep digging for a complete thread in The mean time.
