Getting the Wheeling Fever

My mechanic tore down my engine because I was losing coolant and it was ending up in the oil. The only thing he found as a gouge on the block (how did that happen?) which is strategically placed right where the head gasket has to seal next to the center cylinder. He says the block can't be decked. Ugh.

Does anyone know of reputable a place to get a short block for a '90?
