I guess I should stick my nose in, been awhile since I have been around. I still drive my SR with the 3.8 DOHC in it. I now have a 2002 Monti, first time I put it in low range it had warning alarms go off, just parked it, damn thing. Not to mention the flipper I got it from put some regular ATF in the trans so it is stuck in reverse.
I am planning a project Montero, just planning stage, collecting parts, will be interesting, think of a V55W look alike.

Hi Adam,
This is going to be a pretty slow beginning to the build. What I will be doing is a highly modified 2nd gen, "my spare SR" and a 3rd gen I bought that is a bitser, the roof had been cut off to salvage one that a tree fell on. With these I will build a SWB unit body chassis with independent suspension both ends that will get EVO body panels. I have had the mechanical parts for a few years, I am just now getting more serious about finding body parts. I wish I had someone in Japan who could package and ship but I lack resources.

Charlie, to my knowledge, Noah Zimmerman has not made his way to The Wire. At the very least, he's an often importer of parts from the world. He's all over Facebook.

I have been scarce for awhile. Truck is parked, needing fuel tank work.
Picked up a good core 2.6 and going to rebuild again eventually.

Still slide by here from time to time.
Good to see some old names posting.
Still have the TurboMontero. Runs like a charm. Drove it to work a couple of days last week just because I could.
After being my daily driver for 25 years and my younger son's dd for five, I reckon it deserves the rest.

Does anyone know how to contact Justice? I tried a private message but just sent me to some other page. I was a Mitsu tech down in Socal a few years back and bought his 90. I still have my 87!
