3.8l swap

The Galant and Endeavor use the same engine I think as the swap linked above.

I know the front wheel drive blocks are different from the rear/four wheel drive blocks for the 3.8l. The eclipse gets a lot of its power from MIVEC. The valve used to switch MIVEC sticks out from the back of the head ... not a problem on a sideways mounted engine but interferes with firewall on a north/south installation. Valve for the later 3.8l Montero's could be sourced from anyplace that got the newer (2007) Montero's ... like Mexico? I think the mounts might also be different.
