Hi:
I just found a nice looking .22S/L/LR Pump-Action rifle with no apparent markings to indicate the manufacturer. It is similar looking to a Winchester 61 or Remington 121 (?) I think with no external hammer. The only markings are ".22 S. L. & LR" on the barrel, and a serial number "10948" with a "K" underneath it on the receiver. It has the name "Ranger" in script at an angle on the left side of the receiver. It has really nice checked wood stocks. The barrel and tubular magazine have nice bluing, but there is no apparent bluing on the receiver or other metal parts behind the barrel.

I would like to find out who made this rifle and when it was made.

So far, I found out that there was a Ranger Arms company in Texas in the late '60's, and that the name "Ranger" was used by several gun makers (Savage, Stevens, Sears, etc.) over the years.

Any help would be appreciated.
