I just did the timing belt this past weekend for my 3.0 V6 SWB Raider, same engine. The factory manual can be downloaded from mitsubishilinks.com (look in the stickies in this forum for other links) and it gives a pretty detailed description of how to replace the timing belt. Go ahead and replace the water pump because its buried in there as well and it takes a while to get in that deep so you might as well while you're in there.
