After a few hundred miles, the timing chain failed. After looking around for parts, I decided the Mitsubishi engine was going bye bye. I already had an extra AX-15 trans and NP231 t-case in the garage, so I figured I would just get a 2.5l and the dakota bellhousing and give it a shot. Well, it was a lot of work, and I don't think I do this sort of thing again for a while...
