I was watching The Speed Channel, can't remember the specific show, but the dude had a special on products/mods to improve MPG. He didn't have any tests to prove the outcomes or if these in fact work to improve MPG. I was also wondering how much of this was to showcase the sponsors. But here's what he had.
1. K&N Intake, with large diameter tubing from air box to the throttle body. 2. Computer. The kind you plug into the onboard computer. Don't remember any brands here. 3. E3 Spark plugs. Look pretty efficient. 4. Royal Purple Synthetic Oil (engine, tranny, transfer case, diff). 5. Cat back exhaust, option with aftermarket cat. 6. Headers. He liked Hookers.
Have any of you boys tried these on the 05+ Taco's and had noticeable results? What can you say or advice?
