You need to get an FSM, if you are ever going to go eye-balls deep into working on it. I don't have one for the 97s. Grab the 98 as there won't be major diffs between years for the 3.5 SOHC. Maybe grab the 96s too, as the 97s had both the flattys and the SR flared versions. (The 94-96 had the same LS vs SR exterior differences, and with different engines. The 97s had the same 3.5 SOHC.)

Also, I have a modest box of the small behind-dash bulbs if you need any. If you have a U-Pull junk yards near you, same era Mitsus of any model should get you lots of little bits.
