Well the truck just shut off in the middle of the road, turned over but no spark, got it home and looked it over and no spark at all, removed the coil and bench tested and in the (dark) you could see a faint spark, coil was getting hot also. Seen signs of it arcing over to the laminates as well.
Nothing else on the truck explains its actions.
Got local parts store to order a replacement for only $40...
Hopefully nothing else down the line is also out.
