With this project where I am swapping a 6G75 Mivec backed by a paddle shifted 5 speed into what was originally a 4D56 3 Dr Pajero.
This is by far not the first Mivec to be swapped into a RWD chassis, but it might be the first to use the Mivec PCM to properly control the engine as well as shift a RWD transmission. In this case the Asian V5A51 donated from a 3rd Gen Montero.
I purchased this chassis as a roller last September from over in Oregon. The transport company had it in my yard on Oct 14th and by the 21st the engine was delivered.

And to go yet another step different I will also be utilizing the full Mivec intake manifold and long tube headers allowing that once properly tuned this engine should provide power into the 320Hp range with no loss of low end torque.
Since the day of that photo quite a bit has been done, the engine is mated to the transmission and mounted in the chassis.
Allot of wiring has been done, at this time that is over 400 Hrs of research and hundreds of soldered splices. Still plenty more to do.

More later.

Cheers, Charlie
