Our trusty '90 Monty suddenly is losing brake fluid while sitting. The reservoir is half empty a week after filling it.
So, it appears I need a new master cylinder. Does anyone have recommendations for a specific brand for a replacement master cylinder?

You need to do it sooner than later. The brake fluid will mess up the diaphragm in the vacuum booster. I like Centric on Rockauto.com.

A quick look at Rockauto.com shows a Wagner on closeout with the reservoir for only $27. That's a good price on a good brand.

I may need to check mine now. Paint eat off and bubbled up just like yours, fluid level stays the same so I thought someone spilled it on the booster, but it may just be a slight/slow leak.
