I'll play <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="images/icons/smile.gif" />

For schooling, I'm about 3 classes short (never took the history courses) of being a chemical microbiologist.

Up until I got laid off last year, I was doing color-critical high end print production and digital (direct-to-plate) output. Lots of magazines and stuff like that.

Currently, I deliver pizzas and try to survive doing low-end design work.

Hopefully soon - Manager of a tire store making MORE MONEY than I ever did as a professional!!

What? û You KNEW IÆd eventually see this threadà <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="images/icons/tongue.gif" />

Former Job Title:
Marketing Director - aka: Professional Bullshxt Artist (Expatriated)

My staff and I were very abruptly ædown-sizedÆ several months ago. --- Subsequently, my entire departmentÆs former wages were then used to implement pretty much all of the countless (previously ignored) suggestions that I had presented to the owners while I was employed there.

--- Ya just gotta love the irony. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" />

As a result of this unpleasant experience (with a goal of preventing any such irksome BS in the future), ever since IÆve been focusing on creating my very own Sole Proprietorship.

--- At least if it doesnÆt work out this time, IÆll know exactly who to blameà right?

Forthcoming Job Title:
His Honor, The Exalted & Illustrious Head Chief Cook & Bottle Washer

Cheers!

Used to be a contract Technical Writer for a huge company in Minnesota.
Now a Technical Writer/Distribution Technician for a small software company in Billings, Montana.
Translation I write the how-to books for computer software and install the software remotely to client sites.
I'm also the full time dad to three kids, soccer coach of two teams, and trying to write two books on Montana History. A 26 hour day would be nice.

Okay I'll contribute to the cause.

I am a designer/draftsperson for a large architectural firm in Utah. Mainly drafting and small project management on commercial and healthcare facilities.

On my own time I design custom residences for my father's residential construction company. Just finished designing/building my own first home!

Someday when my dad is ready to retire from physical labor; I hope to partner with him and expand his already successful business into a moderate design-build construction company.
