Body Damage is Cool
My english translation of the Japanese Isuzu Mu owners manual arrived today, and some of you here on the board are not going to believe this;
SOME OF YOU ARE IN IT!!!
Seriously. No Joke.
It seems, that whoever produced this book (no translation author, publisher, date, etc is listed) borrowed/procurred/stole Isuzu images off the internet from Isuzu enthusiests sites. Like this one.
So far I've found:
1. One pic of Dan's rig hill climbing at Moab. Looks to be one of the earlier Moab-Zoos.
2. One 5 rig group shot, and it looks like Steve is on point, with either Dan, Randy or Dallas behind him.
3. Another shot of Dan's rig, rear shot showing articulation.
4.assorted Aussie and Japanese shots.
The images are all in B&W, and plates are obscured.
The manual it's self is nicely done, and it's amazing the options that were never offered on US models. Center locking diff, heated front seats, spare-tire protector bar, factory brush bar, lots of courtesy lights, the "Holy-Grail" slope backed top, factory hardtops, and of course the turbo desiel.
Anywho, pretty interesting and worth it.
Travis

I'd bet they are from these stories: http://www.off-road.com/isuzu/moab.html http://www.off-road.com/isuzu/moabrept.html
Probably like this:
1. One pic of Dan's rig hill climbing at Moab. Looks to be one of the earlier Moab-Zoos.
[Linked Image]
2. One 5 rig group shot, and it looks like Steve is on point, with either Dan, Randy or Dallas behind him.
[Linked Image]
3. Another shot of Dan's rig, rear shot showing articulation.
[Linked Image]
I'm guessing on that one, but that ain't Dan.
A pity they couldn't properly attribute the pictures to Kammy, or at least reference www.zuzoo.org
Randii

These two are the ones.
[Linked Image]
[Linked Image]
The other Dan shot is a close-up from the right rear.
Like I said, no listed publishers, authors, etc.
So far as I know, this book is only available in Australia and NZ. The guys who put it out probable figured that it would never make it to the US.
We know you "Da Woman" Kammie !
Travis

If it's available here in Australia any idea who I can get it from? If you can give me a hint as to who/where in Australia I'd be more than happy to send some State side...
Cheers
