The manual can't be helped, I suppose. It is big business (for these traders) buying used Japanese vehicles and re-selling them in other (right-hand drive) markets.

UK
Africa
Australia
New Zealand
and so on...

The problem arises when buyers want manuals, that correspond with the options on their vehicle. Somebody (probably a trader) has gone to the effort of translating the Japanese manuals, and also included photos of vehicles belonging to other people. I was going to suggest that it might have been someone actually on the list from down there...but posts later in the thread suggested otherwise.

I was rebuilding my 91 Trooper and checking out the auctions for several months. What amazed me was the number of foreign buyers there. Australian, New Zealander...and the largest, the Pakistanis. The auction houses love it. The foreigners buy vehicles (usually) that couldn't be re-sold in Japan.

You guys should contact the publisher and have them attribute credit for the photos...maybe even a link to this site. That way, we all benefit from the new membership. There's no such thing as too many fellow owners around the world.
