Body Damage is Cool
Well, it appears as though my days on this board have become numbered. The mean ole' repo-man will be here any day now to pick her up...

A few payments have gone by unpaid, and seeing as I've been jobless for about a month now, there's not much light at the end of the tunnel.

Anyways, enough cynacism.

It's been quite an experience hanging out on this board almost every day for going on 2 years now. I've learned an invaluable amount of things, maybe even taught a few too. I've met quite a few of you at Moab Zu Zoo IV, Uwharrie, and some other places.

We share a wealth of knowledge asking for absolutely nothing in return. We take our bad moments along with the good, and do it all in stride. We help each other work on our trucks and expect nothing in return except maybe a cold one

We are family.

And I will miss each and every one of you. Of course, I'll still be here a little longer because I have to sell the stuff off my truck somewhere!!! Besides, I don't think I could just quit the forum cold-turkey. Quitting smoking would probably be easier.

Thanks for everything guys and gals.

Man, that sucks. I'm sorry to hear about your financial situation. I work two jobs to keep my head above water...it sucks the big one.

Remember, when one door closes, all it's telling you is to look around you, b/c another door just opened up for you.

You'll have a new Amigo someday soon. Good luck and keep your chin high.

But as was said here ... when one door closes another one opens.

Five years from now you'll be in another nice vehicle of some type and this will all just be a bump in the road. Happens to all of us.

Man Rusty, sorry to hear about that.

Same thing almost happened to me with my Amigo...lost job, couldn't make payments....heck, I actually hid the Amigo a couple of times so they wouldn't find it!!

Inheritance came through at the last moment and I got to pay it off. I was lucky that my "back" door opened up just as the other was about to close.

If ya need to sell some of the Amigo stuff, let me know. I'm in NC too and could maybe take some if off your hands in exchange for some greenbacks.

You can email me at razerator@aol.com if ya want.

Again, sorry dude.

BTW - if ya get stuff off the Amigo quickly, isn't it conceiveable that you may make enough $ to pay one months payment? At least it might give you a couple of weeks.... just a thought.

Ashley

Rusty, have you contacted your lender directly? Some times they will take smaller payments for the short term, or even let you skip a payment, as long as you speak with them directly...

Good luck man...

That does suck. But hey, it doesn't mean that you have to leave the board. You surely have tons of knowledge packed away in your grape. Plus I didn't see it written anywhere that you have to own an Isuzu to contribute. Hang tuff man. Things will come full circle.

i don't usually post over here, i am usually on the toyota boards but i thought i would pop into this thread, i work for carmax auto finance doing collections and i understand your situation, i deal with it everyday without knowing specifics there are a few things you may try. some have been mentioned already try for an extension or making a partial payment also look into your states laws, i can't think of any odd ones in NC off hand but there are many states with wierd laws to protect people in debt. if you have any questions you can email me at justin@ForgivenOne.com i will try to help you out
