I seem to remember reading somewhere that over in the UK there's a quirky vehicle tax loophole wherein if you have an SUV without rear side windows, you can register it as a "work" van and save big on the taxes.
Like this one: <img src="http://www.vanman.co.uk/data/new_vans/uploads/1024500685_Photo_trooper3.0tdmegavan.jpg" alt="" />
Looks pretty good!
P.S. just noticed something else, the SWB is rated at 27 MPG in overall driving <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="images/icons/shocked.gif" /> ! Wouldn't that be nice.

We complain about the same thing w/foreign Nissans! Over in Australia, you can still get a Solid axle Nissan Patrol. In South America, the Hardbody is still being built new! And the aftermarket for Australian Nissans? Outrages! They can get anything they want! And it either won't fit our American Nissans, or it's too expensive to justify cost (Custom usually ends up costing less!).
