i guess i just assumed that since the tag under the hood said "3.2 liter" and the title said 1997 Rodeo S and when i changed the timing belt it had to go around two camshaft drive wheels, that it must be a 3.2l DOHC. I knew about the HLA's from reading the haynes book, although i will admit the haynes book was 180degrees wrong on my axle seal replacement (they showed the amigo setup as the rodeo). i'm still not sure where you get 4 cams from, tho'. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" /> there's only one camshaft on each head and then a bunch of rube goldberg setups to drive all the valves (and start ticking). i know some motors have twin cams on each head but not this one.
