Guys, I apologize for not putting this in the for sale section, but with only a day left to go, the most exposure will happen here...

Someone has some New Old Stock Aisin Hubs for sale on e-bay here

this is quite a find! Maybe the only NEW hubs that will be seen or heard of for quite some time. They're at $57 now which is a steal! As most people know, used Aisins sell for around $100!!!

Disclaimer: I have no affiliation with this seller whatsoever. I am merely trying to pass on an unbelieveable find to anyone that may be interested. I myself bid on these, but my budget currently doesn't allow me to bid higher.

Hope this Helps someone!

Do these fit ALL Isuzu 4x4's? As in "universal?" I know that the Gen I and Gen II Troops use differently splined halfshafts up front...will these fit a 2001?

I don't want someone else's headache (used Aisins').

These are NOS!!!! Do they fit a 2001 Troop?

I sent the seller an email to ask if this auction is for TWO (2) hubs. I only see one in the pic, and if you look at the pick of the hub sitting on the box, on the left hand side of the label, there's a "1".

Could that "1" be for "QTY?"

It would be pretty underhanded to just be selling one hub like that.....

Mike

I noticed that 1 on the box as well. I see that you are bidding on the item/s so I will not get in on this one. Like you, I was intrigued by new aisin hubs. But I'm happy with heading out to the junkyard to see if I can scrounge some old ones up. The local yard here has 4 or 5 1st gen troopers.

If the guy is only selling one hub then I wouldn't pay $100 for it. Also FWIW IMHO one should wait until about 2 to 3 minutes before the auction is over before placing a bid. Any earlier and the price is just being needlessly ran up. It takes a little patience but is the best way to get a good deal. Let the other guy have the high bid and think he's going to win it. Then at the last minute put in your bid for the max amount that you are willing to pay. If his proxy bid is higher than your max bid then you will have about a minute or so to decide how badly you want the item.

Good luck. I hope you win and that there are two hubs.

JJ

Hi JJ and thanks for the kind words. I sent the seller an email. No reply yet.

I have been told (here) that USED Aisin's go for a whole lot of dough. I can't understand why someone would start bidding on TWO for only $20...something smells like sh1t.

Somebody just outbid me...that's ok. He's probably reading this right now.

I will wait for a response from the seller. If I don't get one, I won't bid further.

Can someone please answer my question? Will these hubs fit a 2001 Troop? Thanks!!!

*EDIT*
I called St. Charles Isuzu and asked them to lookup the part number. The guy on the phone (nice guy, btw ) told me they are for Gen I Troops and early Rodeo/Amigos only.

Can anyone verify this...about to retract my bid.

Isuzu hasn't changed the ends of the axle shafts in a long time, they should do quite nicely on your 2001 Trooper. You'll have to lock them in order to use TOD tho... In the unlikely event that they don't fit, they'll be an easy sale to someone else on this forum...

HTH,
Chris
