Something about the spline count. I also emailed him for some clarification as to whether these are the same hubs, or different, and if he has a pic of both hubs.

OK, here's what I know with ABSOLUTE AND COMPLETE CERTAINTY:

Isuzu AISIN hubs made to fit 1989-1991 Troopers and 1989-1994 Amigos will fit:

1989 - 1991 Troopers (obviously)
1989 - 1994 Amigos (obviously)
1991 - 1997 Rodeos (and Passports)
1992 - 1997 Troopers
1998 - 1999 Amigos, Rodeos, and Passports

Now, some confusion has apparently arisen as to whether or not there was a change made in the front ends of these trucks 2000+ (or 98+ in the case of the Trooper)... That I don't know. I know the above reference is correct, I've physically swapped AISIN manual hubs onto all of the above mentioned trucks myself... That isn't to say that Isuzu hasn't done some weird stuff over the years, so ya never know, but it should work on any of the above trucks.

Keep in mind that this also applies to Superwinch hubs, but DOES NOT apply to WARN Premium Hubs. The WARN hubs require a SMALLER nib on the end of the axle shaft -- we can try to discuss which years have that and which don't, but that's much more of a variable. My 98 Amigo DID NOT have those nibs, however, of the two replacement CV's I have for that truck, one of them has it, one does not.... That being said, if you have the nibs you can use the WARN hubs, but you'll have to check and see if they're there before you order.

Now, if those of you with 98+ Troopers and 2000+ Rodeos and Amigos would kindly chime in, perhaps we can find out more info on the axle shafts on those trucks...

-Chris
