I was thinking about a 30" or 31" tire and a 2" lift. Thanks for all the good advice!

Welcome to the board. There isn't a decimal in "235" Like stated above, "2.35" would be close to a cycle tire.

To help you figure out the 29", 30", 31".. there is a good site that breaks it down. Tire Tech 101 This should help you out alot, it did for me.

If its so much of a daily driver why do you want such wide tires? Your mpg will drop, as with the acceleretion.. But its your truck, Im just playing devils advocate. I've got wider tires myself!

About shocks, I love the RS9000's made by Rancho. They are adjustable so you can get the nice soft ride on-road, and simply dial them up to a firmer setting for off-road. I got my set for a little over $200 shipped. IMO its worth the extra $$.

And lastly, I just want to let you know about the search feature on this board. Its amazing. This topic has been talked about before, you will find a good amount of info on tires especially.

Ashby
