My 2000 Rodeo 3.2L is just under 30,000. Going in for the 30k service this week.

My 1987 Samurai 1.3L is 167,000. Burns about as much oil as gas

just passed the 80k a little while back, never ticked, but i'm runnin mobil 1 5w 30 for good measure, no smoke, (well unless i run it ALL THE WAY UP to the redline....but...honestly....can u blame it...) and it doesn't burn oil, except either the tranny's fixin to go (doesn't shift funny, no visible leak) or there's a heat shield that i can't find that's gonna fall off, cause when it warms up there's a horrible cracklin noise (kinda like someone crumbling up really brittle tin like metal really fast, and it kinda rolls w/ an increase in rpm, cuts out when i lay off of the throttle and doesn't do it in neutral, it's gonna get looked at thursday, i'm sick of hearin it when the windows are down and the noise bounces off of cars and walls next to me, sounds HORRIBLE!!!
but hey, the engine's runnin good, and unless that's the tick, (i'm pretty sure it isn't) i should be good for a while!

if i could only get more than 11 mpg..........

Just sold our 94 Rodeo with 175,000 still ran strong and only had a moderate tick.

Now have a 95 Trooper with 83,000.
