If I read the USA web site correctly, here's the status: A new to the USA, new to the market, new car company, first vehicle built, unproven history from South America with a 36k warrantee. Of course, Brazil's reputation for hard work and high manufacturing quality is right up there with (pick one)
a. Germany (BMW/Mercedes)
b. Japan (Honda/Toyota)
c. Former Yugoslavia (Yugo)
I think their reputation is more for parties, beaches and thongs. (Sandle/flip-flop thongs is what I mean, of course.)
Even Kia, Hyundai, and Isuzu have 100k warrantes on vehicles with trackable vehicle repair histories.
First to buy a new car from them? It *might* be quality. Might as well place your bets.....
