I'll be bringing the gears I posted for sale to Moab with me.

http://www.4x4wire.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=15&t=003764

It would be a great opportunity to save shipping costs.

Not a judgement on you guys, just that I could bring pretty much my whole front end to sell off to people (Superwinch hubs, extra tie rods, Calmini arms, etc) but didn't want to be the rolling flea market. I could see an item or two, but I want to bring more than a few things. Maybe people want to have somewhat of a parts swap/sale kinda thing at the campground?

Plus, I'll bring plenty of these <img border="0" alt="[Satan]" title="" src="graemlins/satan.gif" /> :

FWIW, I always thought that a swap meet at Moab would be a very good thing for us.
-You can see the item personally.
-It's easier to sell it / buy it.
-A swap meet would save a ton on shipppng costs.
-Plus, you might get some help installing it.
-You could do trades instead of exchanging $$$ (we all know that there is precious little of that rolling around at this time of the year!)

Since 'Zu Zoo VI is sponsored by the 'zu zoo organization, I would recommend that someone send a email to the 'zu zoo organization. There is a "Contact US" button on the home page of the www.zuzoo.org site.

Since this is actually a formally sponsored event, I believe that it is that organization's call as to what is appropriate.

In past years, more than a few Moab 'Zu Zoo attendees have completed trades/purchases initiated online (BBS, email, etc.) ... some folks have even used the Moab 'Zu Zoo Event News-Board to post for sale items at the event. I'd guess that this will happen again this year...

Stuff to keep lawyers off our back: transactions are between individuals and do not directly involve 4x4Wire, OutdoorWire Inc., 'Zu Zoo Inc., or any of the event oranizers.

Practical Suggestion: post a description (and picture if available) of the parts you'd like to buy/sell/trade in the appropriate 4x4Wire forum; http://www.4x4wire.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?category=4

...along with a note that inspection/delivery is available in Moab. Make a coupla copies of the relavent post and bring them to Moab to share with others.

Consistent with 4x4Wire's existing policy on For Sale / Wanted (FS/W) items, please post specifics in the FS/W forums, and post a short summary of what's available (this thread looks like a good place to me!), along with a link to the main FS/W ad. That's where questions/anwers should be made specific to the posted parts.

LOL, I didnt mean to start something.

I first put up this post to advertise that I had the gears in the for sale section wasnt intending to turn it into a giant yard sale.
