Just a reminder on what can happen at any time...

It looks like the driver was pretty lucky.

How did he manage to make it out alive? It looks like the deer jumped right through the windsheild and landed on him (at least partially). Somebody was watching out for him that day.

Stop reading right here if you don't want to hear deer stories.
In high school one of my buddies had a minced deer land in his lap that was launched there from a car that hit it coming the other direction. Straight through the windshield! damn.

A different time an aquaintance of mine hit a tree with his car and the next night decided that he would go out deer hunting to finish it off and claim his car on the comprehensive side rather than the collision side of his insurance. Well he found one, nailed it, got out to look at the damage; while at the same time one of my friends who had been riding shotgun opened his door to inspect as well, when the unconscious deer got up and ran straight in the passenger side door and got it's head right about where the passenger's foot was.
So he's standing on the deer's neck trying to keep it away from himself while it's trying to thrash about. He wisely jumps out of the car and the deer gets up and starts kicking the crap out the interior before finally exiting thru the driver's side door on the other side.
The end result was a comprehensive insurance claim that covered the extensively damaged interior and only slightly damaged exterior.
*And you don't have to tell me the guy is a jackass, I knew this long ago. Some people are alive only because it's illegal to kill them.

when looking for a container to hold drained brake fluid, find a container that is different from the beverage you are currently consuming.

Funny story nonetheless...

I'm driving under an overpass with a busy intersection on either side of it, neither one with a traffic light -- very very common place for people to have accidents in my area. Anyway, I get thru the first intersection, and while going under the overpass, I go to light a cigarette. (How did anyone guess my story would involve smoking?) I take my eyes off the road for about a second to light the cig... Now, it's winter and my window is cracked about an inch and a half to flick my ashes, when all of a sudden while lighting the cig, WHAMMO! First instinct was to slam on the brakes cause I thought I got into an accident crossing the second intersection. Nope, no accident... Instead I'm bleeding from the side of my head and there's a HUGE blackbird sitting on the passenger seat next to me. This freakin' thing flew in my window that was cracked open only an inch and a half, whacked me in the head and landed in the passenger seat. Then the thing proceeds to flap its wings and FLY into the back seat! It's trying desperately to get out the hatchback, with at least a 2 and a half foot wingspan, if not more... I quickly jut into a parking lot, slam it into park, and bail out to go around back and open the hatch, and in the meantime he flies out the driver door that I left open in my haste.... It was quite the scene.

Funny thing is, I had a MUCH MUCH MUCH better chance of winning the lottery than having this thing fly thru an inch and a half cracked window, hit me in the head and land in my passenger seat! But no, I don't win the lottery -- I have this happen instead! I'm not sure if this means I should PLAY the lottery cause I can beat the odds, or if it means I've already exhausted all my odd-beating skills and I should just stay away from the lottery.

ps....still looks like dirt to me

Is not hair either. The deer voided its gastrointestinal contents when it was slammed. In other words it got the crap knocked out of it. LOL

I hope there was no passangers.

But let me tell you... the two stories.... other than the pictures made my day. Hehehehe...

"Richard you killed bambi"
"I didnt mean too"
"Well we cant just leave him here"

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Those NJ black birds are mean huh Chris. Freaking huge... one took out my girlfriends winshield when she first got her license.
