After reading lots of interesting info on past issues with alternators, I wanted a litte confirmation. My brother just repalaced his Alt with an autozone rebuild (96 Rodeo). Following the replacement, battery, 4x4, and another (dont remember)dash light are on. The Rodeo is running, but from what I have read I'm just waiting for alt to completely die or screw up something else.

Is factory/Oem the only true fix for this. Let us know <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />
