2nd Gen Trooper Rear Bumper Survey (continued) #139342 04/30/02 04:45 AM

I'm hoping everyone who wants one of these black steel Calmini rear bumpers will post here in confirmation of their interest. I think the final price was $450 with a 25% down payment that's non-refundable.
I'm gonna try to affix the photo here...

Thumbs up, brudda. Will call Calmini tomorrow for bumpah. Does that hitch port seem small, or it is just my perspective? Easy now, I'm serious.

BTW, the ARB front locker and compressor kit are riding around in the troopelo awaiting installation. Soon, soon...but probably not before I dash up to the Sierras for some early trout season Rockin' and Reelin'.

I know I posted on the other thread already, but I didn't want to get lost in the shuffle. I'm still in.

BUT... I'm still curious. Is the deposit still "non-refundable" if Calmini doesn't get 15? Do we just call Calmini and give them the deposit? Is this even a concern? Has my job made me paranoid? Do I look fat in this? If a plane leaves New York at 500mph, and a bicycle leaves Boston at......
Ummm,... sorry, too much Monty Python.

Mason: I plan on pulling the mudflaps from the front too. Never liked 'em anyhow.

Call Calmini to conrirm, but I believe you just give them your cc number and they dont actually charge it until it ships. You are liable the deposit amount though unless they dont come through or we dont get enough deposits.

Just got off the phone with David at Calmini, placed my order. He actually declined taking more than a 25% deposit (easier for them if all orders are the same, but that's what these danged newfangled computer whizmos are supposed to make EASY for commerce ) He also confirmed that the hitch port is standard sized, so all your accoutrements will plug right in.

I'll spot the deposit if that would otherwise be a holdup for the group ( a few others as well if sincerely needed). Folks, let me know please. I'm not just burning daylight, but solar orbits, if you get my drift. yowza!

Guess some of us will have to resign from the old college frat Humpa Rubba Bumpa.

Dave Chang, please help me dredge up my old post about the testing protocol for bumper evaluation--search feature is mocking me today. Oh wait, wait, let me develop a new one for the rear---STC.

A tip o' the ten gallon chapeau to Jim Shrake for his effort and leadership. Tanks brudda!!

Yee-ha.

Maybe I lost in in the 100+ posts on the old thread, and the 15 hr work days, but did we get confirmation that it fits up to 2001/2?

If so, I'll place my order ASAP.

Heath

Hi guys. I just called Calmini and placed my order. They said that only 3 people have placed their orders so far- 4 including me.
I'd say everyone should call them ASAP and get us to that 15 level so they can begin production. They won't charge our cards until they have the 15 orders.
Please don't let this fall apart! Get your order in today! God, I sound like an infomercial.
