The post over at Edmunds didn't even last 24 hours before they deleted it. All I gave was basic info about the bumper nothing about cost, who was making it, or any websites. Just told them to email for more info. I did give additional info and this website out to 2 interested people.

Jim, not sure who told you we could post it but it over with for now.

I guess it depends on who's moderating the specific section.

Yep the Owner's club over there is run by me. And the moderator/host is pretty cool. Any word on 98-02 fitment yet?

Why it won't fit you ask?

Well the 92-97 truck's body is 3/4" higher on the body pucks than the 98-02. If this bumper is snug against the body of the 92-97 and bolts to the frame, then it will be 3/4" too high and thus inside the body of the 98-02. If it is setup for the 98-02 then there will be a gap on the 92-97 ones. I'd just hate to see someone buy it for a 98-02 and then not be able to mount it wo modifying it.

After dealing with Calmini on several purchases, I am very confident that they will not, under any circumstances, sell a part that wont fit. I tried to buy a front bumper for my 98 that I knew wouldn't fit without some modification and they refused to sell it to me at any price. If different mounting brackets are required than different mounting brackets are what you will get. So, if any of you are a little worried about fitment, call Calmini and ask. As for me, I'm confident that if they say it will fit, it will. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" />

I'm glad to hear that someone has had good experiences with calmini. About a quarter of the people on this forum have had bad experiences with them. That's not to say that they are bad people or that they are going to screw us, but it seems to me that they sometimes take there Isuzu customers for granted because they are the only boat in town.
As for the mounting brackets there should be a way to make an extension for the bumpers that sit to high. So I can't foresee too many problems with that.

I have had to wait a long time like most people when they order something from Calmini, and their customer service is kind of hit and miss but their products are worth the wait. Wish more trooper people would order from them so they would take us more seriously. I would love one of their front bumpers but there isn't enough interest at the moment. I may start a group buy for that if this thing works out.

OK this has all fallen apart..

Just kidding, Steve just called and 15 is hit and we are now officially off and running starring today.

Minor updates:
- shipping, they have a quote for everyone prepared, so if you are worried just call and findout what your shipping will be. Tip, there is a $45 residential address charge for the truck freight companies. If you have any kind of business address you can ship to, do that and save $45. FYI, mine was $95 + $45 fee if it goes to my house.

- '98+ fitment, they are still working with the local dealer to get a 2002 to test on, but Steve assured us if there are any issues it will be delt with.
