I just got done with this. You need to take the alternator out and look at the plug. There are two different ones, a round and a square plug. The round one is pretty cheap. the squared one is NOT. After you find out what kind of plug you have, call merlin. Randii has my alternator pics uploaded here someplace...

Easiest way to get the alternator out is thru the bottom, taking off the skid plate, and the sway bar. once those are out of the way, it's pretty much a cake walk...sort of.
