Conman what did Matt charge you for your bars and are they bolt on or weld on?

Here is the link for those who are serious about this. The deposit is $100 and the final price will depend on how many people step up and commit. Follow this link Rock Skidderz Deposit and place your deposits.

The final pricing will follow the schedule Caleb posted in the first interest thread. Boulder Bar Interest?

Joe has been out of town and should be back today or tomorrow. When he gets back, he will probably set a cut off date. That will determine approximately how long it will be before delivery.

As for the different styles, I am sure they can be accommodated.

Caleb, please copy the deposit link into your fist post.

Michael

I don't remember how much I paid but I did get a discount cause I was one of the "mockup" vehicles. Matt was kind enough to weld them on for me for a very small charge too. There are atleast three of us 92+ Trooper owners with his rocker bars and a lots 1gen and migo owners as well with his rocker and bumpers. I orignally wanted bolt on but saw how much of a pain it would have been to drill.

Cheers,
Con

I have a couple of questions.
See... this is the problem with group buys -- I'll post the rules once again in a minute....

It is a fine line between asking the vendor a direct question and asking the general wisdom of the group. IMHO, some of the questions asked in this thread seem more the former, and less the latter --- which is non-optimal.

The forum had no way to answer estimated delivery times, shipping specifics,

The forum CAN, however, speak to whether a certain brand of bars is useful as a side-step for entry and egress, or comment on whether a certain brand of bar worked well in the boulders.

I'm not picking on anyone in particular, but give some consideration to your queries before you ask them -- some may be best answered with a phone call or email to the vendor in question...

Wow, THAT was informative. Group Buy rules:
http://www.outdoorwire.com/ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=68;t=007199
I gotta follow my own rules better... This particular tyhread is titled as an 'Interest Tally' but since it pretty much deals with a price change on an existing range of products, it probably falls under the category of a Group Buy.

Since we goofed and did not lock this initially, I'll leave it open in hopes that folks will use it for PRODUCT INFORMATION and not just to post that you want the stuff -- Michael has posted a link where you can put your money down...

Please help us correct the direction of this thread (see the policy link, above) and keep tyhe discussion focused on the attributes of the product itself, not payment, shipping, or delivery specifics.... as noted above, those may best be discussed with the vendor. Sorry for any confusion... we're still getting used to the new policy, as well.

I'll sticky this, as well.

Getting the Wheeling Fever
My deposit's in!

C'mon, gents (and ladies), let's keep the deposits rolling in and get the price down as low as possible!

Thanks, Black-n-Blue, mlclark, and, of course Joe D. for making this possible!

Mike
