The miltary floating jeep project did make it to actual service during WWII but was scraped early on as it took too long to setup, the Jeep was too slow and a sitting duck in the water making it easy targets and it didn't float well for long. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="images/icons/shocked.gif" />
