Hey Joey, definately looking at first gen trooper. 89-91. CHEAP. I've got the 2.6 5spd. so thats what I'd like, just makes it easier to swap over.

Joel, I'll give you a shout Monday and see if we can't get together over wobbly pops. I think we could scab it together pretty easy. Other than the entire truck there are onlt a couple of places on the frame of major concern. At the joint where the front rear leaf hanger is and where the tranny cross member is. On the drivers side there is a little 'bump' where the cross member bolts to that went the way of the dodo.

Thanks guys. I had already decided to put it back on the road and wait for a body so this is perfect.

Joey-Check out the Trooper at the Tigard, OR U-Pull it salvage yard. Each U-pull it has a a wall that lists the other U-pull it yards in the Portland,OR/Vancouver, WA area and every rig they have on the lot. The Vancouver, WA and the Tigard, OR both have some nice Trooper bodies that Scott may like. See if you can get a price for the bodies for Scott. I'm a little busy with my crap right now.
