I thought about this solution with the second floor as well already. But I need access to my tie-down hooks that are integrated in the floor of the trunk. And another problem are the child seat anchor mounts in the trunk.
By now I have not figured out how to combine this without spending too much money.
But thanks for the pictures. It looks good.
