Yes water in tranny will cause fluid to spew out all over the place. I once had to retrieve a boat that was taking on water, which meant submerging the trailer rather deep <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="images/icons/shocked.gif" /> Water entered trough the breather tubes. Then on the tow home it boiled over making a mess of the truck and the boat. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" /> Have since extended the breather lines to a higher location and performed the trans flush and refil.
