Hey Man hang in there!

My stereo also got jacked about 2 months ago
here in SF. At first I was really upset
but ya' know this is the type of crazy
world we're all living in and stolen
stereos are just part of the deal now.

Just be glad it was only material and
not something serious like a loved one
getting badly hurt or injured
because of some incident like this.

If anything I decided to just upgrade
my new car stereo and to appreciate
even better sounding music and making
the best out of a shitty situation.

Well I hope you made it to the ball game
and your girl wasn't too put off by
you being late and you had a nice time.

I know you don't want to hear
this right now but everything
good and especially bad does
happen for a reason ...

Man, I am so sorry to see this happened to you. It sounds like a lot of us have been in the same boat (myself included). Every time I see something like this happen, or see someone pulled over getting a ticket, or hear an ambulance go screeching by, I think to myself, "We all get our turn." It's one of the truths. This time it was your turn, and I hope you catch a break next time.

On the bright side, with a name like "Suave," you're sure to score with that chick (much better than scoring in your actual baseball game if you ask me).

Good luck!

Guy, based on our past history I probably wouldnt vote for you as Pres but I cant help but agree with you on this one. Dang I HATE thieves.

Rdsuave, did you have tinted windows? I've always wondered if it helps to have em. My condolences. On the bright side at least you still got those nice new tires.

That really sucks!! I had a convertable that got its top cut to steal
a $100 crappy stereo. The top costs me $500. Put a really crappy
stereo in it after that and never locked the doors again.

Here a cool site with hidden stereo's: http://www.customautosounds.com/classic/secret.html
Im going to put one of these in my Alfa resto-project car, once its done

I do have tinted windows. If they would have taken the stuff in the back of the truck, they would have been able to get a lot more crack. My nice new set of craftsman tools, amp, sub woofer and XM reciever were all back there. If they opened the glove box, my old set of craftsman tool were in there.

Here's the kicker. They climbed over a razor wire fence to get to my truck.

Rich, this was over at your work, right? Great. The comment about the amount of crack is right on. The difference between no crack and some crack must be far greater than having some crack and having more crack. Once again, good for you on where you located your equipment. I can't remember, do you have an RF frequency cd changer back there? How about using a stock in dash unit with all your goodies? That would mean running a line level into your amp instead of preamp hookups, but the stealth factor might be worth it. Will you be needing any parts from my extra rig? Hey, sorry but the high tech stock cassette deck is mine.
