Roll Me Over
I just saw some show about earthquakes on one of the cable networks- TLC, History, Discovery,- one of them. And they showed a research team in Iceland going caving. Their vehicle was a Land Cruizer with tires so wide that it doubled the width of the vehicle. Very cool looking.

I find myself watching those types of shows more for the glimpes of cool trucks, than for the topic. Especially the ones regarding Dinosaurs and Crocs. They have the best range of modified 4x4s around.

They had a show about dust storms in the the outback the other night, and I can see why they need those snorkles down there.

Without a "sock" however, it can be as bad as without a snorkel.

Hi again.

Some of you might be interested in more outdoor sport pictures from Iceland. I have some on my own site. Most of the text is in Icelandic.

konni,
Great pictures!

But what I'm curious about... How deep is the snow in that area?

...because here it's quite hard to wheel around during the winter.
Note:this Patrol has ~32" tires,so the snow was around 25" deep.

Anyway,I still don't understand why some people dislike winter wheeling
