Body Damage is Cool
I found out that the Toyota elec. locker doesn't work in the front of solid axle.....Atleast when I try to put in the Downey cable adapter.

The spring purch and springs are in the way. I'm gonna put it in the rear instead. That means I'll have the whole third member with detroit and 4.56 gear for sale when I'm done with it.....not sure when though...

If you dont't like religeous holidays, go to work.Otherwise, let's call them what they are.

why don't you just put the detriot 3rd member up in the front. they interchange front to back. i run a detriot locker up front on my 82 4x4 with no problems.

e-lockers will most certainly work in the front, you just can't put the cable conversion on them. You have to use the stock electric motor to accuate it. High pinion e-lockers are bettedr for the front because of the reverse cut gears being stronger in front applications. High pinion e-lockers can be found in FZJ-80s...
