When calling around junkyards, I found that not one of the parts guys actually knew the difference between a locking diff and an open diff. Many of their inventories have been incorrectly labled. 3 out of 5 yards I called had their inventories wrong. I had to have the parts guys actually crawl under the truck and make sure it is the locking diff. So don't assume ANYTHING when calling the junkyard.
